7 Best URL-to-Video Ad Tools in 2026, Compared & Ranked

In short — "Paste a URL, get an ad" is the fastest-growing promise in ad tooling, and the tools delivering it differ in one decisive way: what they do with your product images. Some read the page for text and then put an avatar on screen (Creatify, Zeely, HeyGen). Some animate your actual product photo through image-to-video (Klaivo). A third group extracts the page but produces largely stock or template output (AdCreative.ai, InVideo). The right choice depends entirely on whether a shopper needs to see the thing. Below: 7 tools, what each really pulls from a URL, and where the promise breaks.

Disclosure: Klaivo is our product. We've tried to be fair — every tool below has real strengths, and all pricing is public and dated. Verify current prices on each vendor's site, as offers change often.

What "URL to video" actually means, technically

The promise hides three separate jobs, and tools are good at different ones:

  1. Extraction. Fetch the page and pull title, price, description, and images. Easy on server-rendered stores, hard-to-impossible on anti-bot pages.
  2. Interpretation. Turn that raw product data into an ad — a hook, a benefit, a reason to act. This is a writing problem, not a scraping problem, and it is where most tools are thinnest.
  3. Rendering. Put something on screen. Here the tools diverge most: your photo animated, an avatar holding a substitute, or stock footage that merely evokes the category.

A tool can be excellent at (1) and useless at (3) for your category. That is why "does it support URLs?" is the wrong question.

Where the promise breaks

Worth knowing before you buy, because every vendor markets "any URL":

Page type Extracts cleanly? Notes
Shopify / WooCommerce Server-rendered and structured — the easy case
Brand site with SSR Usually fine
Amazon listing ⚠️ Heavy anti-bot; often partial data
AliExpress item page Captcha shell — no product content is returned at all
JS-only storefronts ⚠️ Depends whether the tool renders JavaScript

If a tool fails on your URL, the honest response is a clear error and a refund of whatever it charged — not a generic ad built from nothing. Test with your own worst page before committing.

The 7 best URL-to-video ad tools

1. Klaivo — best for product-accurate output

Scrapes the page, writes an ad script (AIDA or PAS), splits it into shots, generates each through one of 13 models, adds voiceover and music, and edits the result.

  • Best for: physical products where the item must be recognisable.
  • Strength: image-to-video animates the product photo pulled from your page, so the thing on screen is the thing you ship. Model choice per ad lets you trade cost against quality.
  • Trade-off, stated plainly: URL-to-Ad is on paid plans only — it is not part of the 7-day trial, where you work from a photo or description instead. Failed scrapes are refunded and reported rather than faked.
  • Pricing (September 2026): $19/mo (100 credits), $49/mo (260), $99/mo (560). A complete 3-shot ad from a URL is ~50 credits.

2. Creatify — best all-in-one URL suite

The most complete platform in this category: URL extraction, scripting, a large actor library, batch variants and ad-platform publishing on higher tiers.

  • Best for: teams wanting many versions plus analytics in one place.
  • Trade-off: avatar-led output — your product is usually cut in around the presenter rather than being the subject.
  • Pricing (September 2026): free (10 credits), ~$39/mo Starter (100 credits), ~$99/mo Pro (300 credits).

3. Topview — best cost per URL ad

E-commerce-focused agent that pulls images, price and description, then generates a multi-shot ad — at the lowest effective per-clip cost here.

  • Best for: cheap, high-volume testing from a catalogue of URLs.
  • Trade-off: 15-second cap on the Pro tier; quality varies enough that you'll discard renders.
  • Pricing (September 2026): free tier with trial credits; Pro ~$16/mo billed annually (960 credits, 15s max); Business ~$40/mo annually (3,000 credits, 25s max).

4. Zeely — best URL-to-launch pipeline

Goes further than the rest: URL to ad to live Meta campaign, without leaving the tool.

  • Best for: solo sellers who want one place for creative and campaign management.
  • Trade-off, and it dominates the maths: Zeely takes 12% of every dollar spent on Meta ads (6% with the paid Booster) on top of the subscription. At $5,000/month of spend that is $600/month.
  • Pricing (September 2026): ~$29.95 Starter, ~$49.95 Plus, ~$79.95–89.95 Growth; introductory blocks renew at full rate.

5. AdCreative.ai — best URL-to-static

Reads the URL and generates creative with performance scoring — genuinely strong, but its centre of gravity is static banners and social images.

  • Best for: teams whose mix is still mostly display.
  • Trade-off: full video capability sits on the upper plans. See AdCreative.ai alternatives.
  • Pricing (September 2026): from ~$29/mo (about 10 credits, 1 brand, 1 seat) up through ~$249 and beyond.

6. HeyGen — best URL-to-avatar

Its URL-to-video feature pulls your page assets and builds an avatar-fronted clip. Fast for catalogue-scale production.

  • Best for: many SKUs, one presenter format, several languages.
  • Trade-off: general-purpose platform, so nothing is tuned to ad structure or product fidelity.
  • Pricing (September 2026): free (3 videos/month, watermarked); Creator ~$29/mo; Pro ~$49/mo; Business ~$149/mo + seats.

7. UrlToVideo AI — the literal-name option

A smaller tool built explicitly around this single workflow for e-commerce product pages. Worth a look precisely because it does one thing.

  • Best for: evaluating whether a narrow, single-purpose tool fits before buying a suite.
  • Trade-off: pricing not publicly verified at time of writing — we don't publish figures we haven't checked. Confirm on their site.

The question that decides it

Every tool here reads a URL. The difference is what appears in the frame afterwards.

Ask: would a customer notice if the product on screen were slightly wrong?

For a supplement tub, a phone case, a generic accessory — probably not, and an avatar-led ad will convert fine. For furniture, apparel, jewellery, cosmetics, tools, anything with a texture, a shade or a shape the buyer is choosing between — yes, immediately, and at the worst possible moment: when the parcel arrives.

Text-to-video invents a plausible object. Avatars hold a substitute. Only image-to-video animates the photo from your actual page. We went deeper on this in image-to-video for product ads.

Verdict by use case

Physical goods where fidelity matters. Klaivo — the product from your page is the product on screen.

Volume variants with analytics and publishing. Creatify.

Cheapest per URL ad, and you'll sift the results. Topview.

You want creative and campaign launch in one tool, and your ad spend is small. Zeely — but run the 12% arithmetic against your real budget first.

Your creative mix is still mostly banners. AdCreative.ai.

Hundreds of SKUs, one presenter format, many languages. HeyGen.
