What is an AI ad clone tool?
An AI ad clone tool takes a video ad that already works and rebuilds its structure for a different product: the type of hook, the order of the selling steps, the pacing and the way the message is delivered. Klaivo watches the ad, image and sound, and maps it step by step. Its AI agents then write a new script from your product page, following that map, and you edit any line before generating the video.
Cloning the structure is not copying the ad. Klaivo keeps none of the original footage, music or words. A check run on every script rejects the source ad's brand names, any phrase of six words taken from it and any number your product page does not give, then rewrites the script. The source video is deleted as soon as it has been watched, or after 30 minutes if you leave.

How do I clone a competitor's ad with AI?

How do I find a winning ad to clone?
Look for ads still running after several weeks: advertisers rarely keep paying for an ad that loses money. The Meta Ad Library lists active ads by advertiser and country with their start date, and TikTok's Creative Center shows top ads. How long an ad runs is a clue, not proof of its results.
Can I clone a competitor's ad?
You can use its structure as a starting point: Klaivo copies the hook type, the steps and the pacing, never its footage, music, words, brand or claims. This is not legal advice: you stay responsible for the ads you run, so avoid anything distinctive to another brand, such as a mascot or a slogan.

Will my version repeat the original's claims?
No. Numbers, results and prices must come from your product page or your description. If a script uses a number they do not give, it is rewritten. If it still fails the check, the analysis is refunded.
Can I change what the agents wrote?
Yes. Edit any line of the storyboard, or type an instruction such as “funnier, mention free shipping” and regenerate: the script is rewritten on the same structure.
Do you keep the ad I upload?
No. It stays on the server only for the analysis, is never stored in your projects and is deleted as soon as it has been watched, or after 30 minutes if you leave. Only a text description of its structure stays in your project.
