In short — Shopify stores have an advantage most sellers never use: your product pages are server-rendered and structured, which means an AI tool can read the title, price, images and description straight from the URL and build an ad from them. Not every tool does this well, and the ones that do split into two camps — those that put an avatar in front of your product (Creatify, Topview, Zeely) and those that animate your actual product photo (Klaivo, PixVerse). For physical goods, that second camp usually wins, because a shopper compares the ad to the parcel. Below: 8 tools, what each really costs, and the Shopify-specific gotchas.
Disclosure: Klaivo is our product. We've tried to be fair — every tool below has real strengths, and all pricing is public and dated. Verify current prices on each vendor's site, as offers change often.
Why Shopify is easier than most stores to advertise from
This is worth understanding before you pick a tool, because it explains why some tools work on your store and others silently produce generic filler.
A Shopify product page ships server-rendered HTML with predictable structure: product.title, product.price, the image gallery, the description, often structured data too. An AI tool fetching that URL gets everything it needs on the first request.
Compare that to the pages that break URL-to-ad tools:
| Page type | Scrapes cleanly? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify product page | ✅ | Server-rendered, structured, predictable |
| WooCommerce / BigCommerce | ✅ | Usually server-rendered too |
| Amazon listing | ⚠️ | Heavy anti-bot, often partial |
| AliExpress item page | ❌ | Captcha shell — returns no product content at all |
| Single-page-app storefronts | ⚠️ | Content loads after JS; depends on the tool's renderer |
If a tool promises "paste any URL" and you sell on AliExpress, expect failure — that is a limitation of the page, not the tool. On Shopify, you are in the easy case.
How we compared
Four criteria, weighted for e-commerce specifically:
- Does it read a Shopify URL properly — title, price, images, description — or does it need manual input anyway?
- Product fidelity. Does your item appear on screen, or a plausible-looking substitute? For apparel, furniture, cosmetics and hardware, this decides refund rates as much as conversion.
- Cost per publishable ad, not per month or per generation.
- Hidden costs. Ad-spend percentages, per-seat fees, watermarks on lower tiers, commercial-use restrictions.
The 8 best tools for Shopify stores
1. Klaivo — best for product-accurate ads
Paste a Shopify product URL: Klaivo scrapes the page, writes an ad script (AIDA or PAS), splits it into shots, generates each through the model you pick, adds voiceover and music, and edits the result.
- Best for: stores selling physical goods where the item must be recognisable.
- Strength: image-to-video animates your actual product photo instead of inventing a lookalike. 13 models to choose from (Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0), so cost and quality are dialled per ad.
- Trade-off, stated plainly: the URL-to-Ad feature is on paid plans only — it is not included in the 7-day trial. During the trial you build ads from a photo or a description instead.
- Pricing (September 2026): $19/mo (100 credits), $49/mo (260), $99/mo (560). ~15 credits per 5-second shot; ~50 for a complete 3-shot ad from a URL. No ad-spend cut, no per-seat fee.
2. Creatify — best all-in-one Shopify workflow
Reads the product URL, generates avatar-led ads at volume, and connects to Meta, Google and TikTok on higher tiers.
- Best for: stores that want variants, analytics and publishing in one subscription.
- Trade-off: the avatar is the hero; your product is usually cut in as B-roll.
- Pricing (September 2026): free (10 credits), ~$39/mo Starter (100 credits), ~$99/mo Pro (300 credits).
3. Topview — best cost per clip
An e-commerce-focused agent with the most aggressive per-render economics here.
- Best for: testing many hooks cheaply before committing budget.
- Trade-off: 15-second clip cap on the Pro tier, and quality varies — cheap per render is not the same as cheap per usable render.
- Pricing (September 2026): free tier with trial credits; Pro ~$16/mo billed annually (960 credits, 15s max, no watermark); Business ~$40/mo annually (3,000 credits, 25s max).
4. Zeely — best if you want ads and campaign launch together
Pulls the product link, builds the ad, and launches it to Meta from the same place.
- Best for: solo store owners who don't want a separate ads manager workflow.
- Trade-off, and read this one carefully: Zeely takes 12% of every dollar you spend on Meta ads (6% with the paid Booster add-on) on top of the subscription. At $3,000/month of spend that is $360/month — far more than any subscription on this list.
- Pricing (September 2026):
$29.95 Starter, ~$49.95 Plus, ~$79.95–89.95 Growth. Introductory blocks ($19.95 for two weeks) renew at the full rate.
5. PixVerse — best budget image-to-video
Strong image-to-video at the lowest entry price here — good for animating product photos without a full ad workflow.
- Best for: store owners comfortable writing their own script and editing.
- Trade-off: a model, not an ad tool. No script, no voiceover pipeline, no URL path.
- Pricing (September 2026): generous free daily credits; paid plans from ~$8–10/mo.
6. AdCreative.ai — best if you still run banners
The strongest tool here for static creative, with performance scoring on top, and a URL-based workflow.
- Best for: stores whose creative mix is still mostly display and social statics.
- Trade-off: full video capability sits on the upper plans. See AdCreative.ai alternatives.
- Pricing (September 2026): from ~$29/mo (about 10 credits, 1 brand, 1 seat), rising through ~$59, ~$99, ~$149, ~$249.
7. Arcads — best for creator-style testimonials
Not a URL tool at all — you write the script and AI actors perform it. Included because for some Shopify categories (supplements, skincare, apps) a talking human outperforms a product shot.
- Best for: categories where trust in a person sells better than a view of the object.
- Trade-off: ~$11 per finished video, and no product fidelity path.
- Pricing (September 2026): ~$110/mo for 10 videos, ~$220/mo for 20.
8. CapCut — best free finishing tool
Not a generator. It is what most Shopify sellers actually use to trim, caption and add a CTA card to whatever they generated elsewhere.
- Best for: finishing, captioning, and adding text overlays at zero cost.
- Pricing (September 2026): generous free tier; Pro ~$19.99/mo or ~$179.99/year on US web checkout.

The Shopify-specific mistakes worth avoiding
Using text-to-video for a physical product. A text prompt produces a plausible object, not yours. For a $30 t-shirt nobody notices; for a $180 chair with a specific frame and finish, the customer notices when the parcel arrives. Image-to-video exists for exactly this — we covered why it keeps your product accurate.
Comparing subscriptions instead of cost per ad. A $16/month plan that yields three usable clips is more expensive than a $19/month plan that yields two complete ads. Count finished, publishable ads — the breakdown is in what an AI video ad really costs.
Missing the ad-spend percentage. A tool that takes a cut of Meta spend is cheap at $500/month of budget and expensive at $5,000. Do the arithmetic against your actual spend before subscribing.
Testing one ad instead of five. Store owners routinely spend two weeks perfecting a single creative. On Meta and TikTok the account that wins is the one testing volume — most variants lose, and that is the point. Our guide to video ad structure covers what to vary between them.
Verdict by store type
Apparel, furniture, cosmetics, hardware — anything the customer inspects. Klaivo or PixVerse: your actual product on screen. Fidelity is the whole ballgame.
Supplements, skincare, apps, digital products. A presenter usually outperforms a product shot. Arcads for realism, Creatify for volume.
High ad spend (over ~$2,000/month). Avoid percentage-of-spend pricing. A flat subscription is dramatically cheaper at scale.
Just starting, tiny budget. Topview's annual Pro tier or PixVerse's free daily credits, then move up once you know which angle works.
Still mostly running static banners. AdCreative.ai, and add a video tool alongside rather than buying a top tier to unlock video.
Selling on Shopify? Paste a product URL and get a complete ad — script, voiceover, music, edit — with your actual product on screen. From $19/month. See pricing.
